You people should just read this book yourselves and write your own review on this novel yourself and I really enjoyed reading this book very much so . Shelley MA
I found the premise interesting, one of every mother's worst nightmares, the characters were like able and the plot believable to me. Over all an enjoyable read and a book that I didn't want to put down.
This book started out well and I had hope, but it quickly became very dull. I made myself finish it, although I really didn't care what happened to any of the characters. It is nothing like "Defending Jacob" or "Gone Girl" as some suggestions have indicated. It is not particularly well written, unless you like to read on a grade school level.
Multiple person narratives are hard to pull off yet this writer has the talent make it work. Unexpectedly Shakespearean in it ending. Go figure.
I loved this book and it is the best book I've read in a long time. It is very well written and organized. I liked the change of perspective. I felt I understood and had insight into the characters who face serious issues. Once I started I couldn't put the book down. I don't want to reveal the plot. If you like intense, complex characters read this book.
Starts off plodding and slow. Maintains that pace for most of the story arc and then *whoosh* it's all a blur. I can't say I hated it, but I can't say I really enjoyed it either.
Oh, and that phrase is "must've," not "must of" no matter how many times you misspeak it.
An enjoyable read with well developed characters. The conclusion was nothing like I suspected. I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good story along with a believable plot. The story is told from two perspectives, both in the first person. Very different kind of writing, but the two viewpoints made it a page turner.
